I remember seeing a post from Paul about an additional bonus for reservations made in early 2014. Anyone still have that post or know anything additional about it?
Goofyone, are you out there today?
Are you expecting to hear an update on reservations any time soon?
Or info on P5? Ok, really, anything from the front office? ;)
Wayne, totally agree with the high number assessment but suppose you're basing your 'good deal' guess on the owners of lower number cars selling them off in order to buy better cars later on. The lower number owners might sell but I doubt they'll get much better car later on. I doubt a start-up...
Volunteers wouldn't have to be put in the most demanding skill level or dangerous positions necessarily. That said, I'm sure there are those who have many hours in the seat of a fork lift, even up to the seat of a yard tractor (semi), or anything in between. I'm sure there are those that are...
Larger mirrors mean more drag = less aerodynamocity(new word I just coined) = less mpg. My HD Electroglide has mirrors about the same size as the P4 and it was no problem getting used to them nor being able to see everything behind me. I would be satisfied with the P4s mirrors as they are.
Yeah, it's not going to make one iota of difference one way or the other. I would prefer every 6 weeks but I'm sure I can hold my breath for another 2 weeks! ;)
Wow! No one has blogged since Jan.? I joined a couple months ago but just now saw this thread. My name is Donald Jones, I'm from Cowpens, I'm retired, and more importantly, I'm #3583. Hoping to get a call to come pick mine up in the second/third quarter of 2016.
Yes, I understand. As a retired 'junior' mechanical engineer (2 year, AS degree, I have been involved in several production line start ups, so I understand how they go. We actually didn't consider the line "in production" until most of that had been worked out and we were able to keep the line...
Gas-PA. Your magic number is 844 and you're not expecting delivery until Jan. 2016?? With production to begin in Sept. 2015 and expected to be in the range of 10,000 units per year at first, why would not expect to get yours 4 to 6 weeks earlier than that?
