I have this Fiesta and I drove it 400 miles on the highway last Thursday and got 44.5 mpg at 75mph. Around town I get around 34mpg. As far as gas mileage it does get better mileage and has higher horsepower than a 4 cyl Fiesta. The 3cyl 123hp 31/43mpg 4 cyl 120hp 27/37mpg.
I don't understand why the cameras have to stick out at all. It seems like you could have several around the car and have software stitch them together to give you a 360 view
I am pretty sure after living in the Arctic (north of Nome) that that little door would freeze closed. The only thing really good is that when it is really cold the air is pretty dry. Most of the time I lived there I never used wipers unless it was summer.
I have seen them of a few of the fishing boats I boarded in the Bering Sea. We had a couple similar ones on our ship, the best ones were the circular ones were the window spun at a high rate of speed
When I lived in Northern California we used to get them from the Geothermal plant. They would inject water into the earth and it would then heat up and turn into steam and drive a turbine. This caused an increase in earthquakes most are under 3 but in 2016 they had a magnitude 5.0.
There are some places I know it does not work around here in southwest Missouri. OnStar transmits at 3w compared to 0.6w of a normal cellphone so, it can get through when normal phones cannot.
OnStar uses CDMA cellular technology for voice communications and data transmissions, it does not use satellites for anything else than GPS.
Here is a coverage map from their own website.
I did not drive a stick since 2003 and bought a car with one in Oct it took about 1 minute to get it back. I had nothing but standards for 15 years before my automatic, you will be fine. I do not even think about it anymore, just get in and drive.
I did not say it was the same, what I said is that it can give you good milage and power. If the turbo was designed to work with the engine. The Fiesta engine was designed with a turbo, it is a totally new design. The Fiesta engine also runs on regular fuel, the compression is less at 10:1.
Like I said earlier, I have a Fiesta 1l 3cyl and it does very well on both hp and mileage. On a recent 1000 mile trip, I averaged just over 49mpg. That was at close to 75-80mph on the highway and plenty of power left to pass. I know it is not 84mpg but it is not bad. It can be done and will be...
My Tacoma had pop open rear side windows along with a back sliding one. They were useful to help pull out heat when trying to cool the cab down.
I also liked them with my dogs gave them some air without the worry of getting away
I had a 47 willys jeep with very skinny tires if I remember right they were about 150s or so. It went very good in the snow because the tires actually sank down to the road. I have no problem skinny tires, I am also sure that Continental has done their due diligence to get it all right.
