Well a 3 cylinder engine with a 120 degree crank should be turbine like as it revs up. I guess things like an A/C compressor, alternator, water pump and whatever else it needs to run may add some vibration. I think it would be minimal.
Since we're dreaming. How 'bout the new 3 cylinder MINI Cooper engine. 1.5 Liter, 134 HP, 170 lb ft of torque at a mere 1250 rpm, turbocharged, and direct injection. Already used for a front wheel drive vehicle. Probably fit right in.
I just read at the Elio website that it will be at 405 Main St Daytona Beach (the Tombstone Silverworks building). I was hoping it would be at the speedway with all the other new products.
Everyday on my work commute I see about 80 to 90% of the vehicles I share the road with being occupied and driven by one person (myself included) and the Elio makes SO much sense. I really hope this works out for all of us.

Same here. I'd gladly give up a few mpg for a little more performance. I'll bet quite a few after market items will come available if this thing catches on.

I know it's very early in the game but somewhere down the road I hope they contemplate a higher performance model. Something that could do 0-60 in about 7.5 sec would be great.

Well, I'm all in for $100. Pretty exciting adventure. I've been driving my 02 MINI Cooper S for 12 years and I'm ready for a change. Been riding motorcycles for the better part of 40 years so I don't think it'll be all that much of an adjustment.
