I just received this link from Elio's Facebook page,
They state "The company, which is planning to roll out 100 testing vehicles early next year, is focused on a launch date in the fourth quarter of 2017, reports Engadget" Have they announced launch Q4 of 2017?
The sports competitions are great but the coverage and back stories make up 80% of the broadcast.
I wish they would show more competitors and fewer "fun facts".
It's been more than 3 1/2 years since I put my $100 down and I have upgraded to $1000 over time. If I can wait 3-4 years so can you.
At this point I can't see any reason not to sign a commitment to buy a car I've waited for.
Here is my jungle cat Gigi, hiding in a tree from the nasty pit-bull dogs that run free here.
Actually a couple of the neighbor dogs ran past the front of the house and up she goes.
The Gold cat is Popoki (Hawaiian for cat). She was our first to adopt us and a rat/mongoose killer.
The wording is not too clear, in the first paragraph it states
"As an additional incentive to the 25% bonus offer, limited edition Elio T-shirt, and bumper sticker, new “All In” non-refundable reservation holders at the $500 and $1,000 reservation level will now also receive ... "
Which...
Welcome and congratulations on your reservation Dustin,
Now you join the elite group of people waiting in line.
At least the forum can answer a lot a questions while you wait.
Even if These were OK to use for an old guy (which they aren't) They don't address my main concern which is weather protection.
We get 120 in of rain /Yr here and I need a roof over my head.
It always comes down to options,.
What option do I have except wait and hope this is the pathway to getting my production ready Elio delivered?
NONE !
So I can complain about another slip in schedule but in the end it does no good.
I am thinking that an unique vehicle needs a unique dash. I'll adapt easily enough.
Its not as though this is a race car where I need to watch the RPMs carefully and I'll figure out speedometer.
Hello Aqua.
Elio should be the perfect ride for those hot Georgia evenings. sleek and cool both inside and out
(with the AC on of course). Similar weather here, Tropical
No angst,
I'm all in but I have a backup car to use and I am retired so I can afford to wait.
The money is already spent so if it doesn't pan out, I'll chock it up to a bad bet.
