Yes sir, the Dale was never meant to be produced. It was nothing more than a marketing scheme cashing in on the 70's gas crisis. There is plenty of supporting evidence to this available on the web.

If I could buy a kit before production started I would do it in an instant. I would even give plenty of feedback to the company about the process. If anybody at Elio is reading this, I volunteer to be a guinea pig and test a pre-production kit.

I just went back through this entire thread and nowhere does anyone mention welding a hitch on. Every aftermarket trailer hitch I have ever seen was a bolt on.

It was a mis-quote then because McLaren does not sell a supercharger.

Do you know the formulas used to calculate these numbers? I said do research before making an untrue statement. I have spent a lot of time building small bore turbo engines. If anybody on here thinks for a moment it will be cheap to turbo a 900cc triple they will be sorely disappointed.

Do some research McLaren builds Supercars and has an F1 team. McCulloch built superchargers in the 60's. Paxton and Vortech currently offer centrifugal superchargers in various sizes but none for $800. The ignorance in this thread is driving me crazy. If you don't know what you are talking about...
