I hope so. I want to see the true blue already! I really hope it's the true blue I imagine (like in my avatar) or something close. If not I'm seriously thinking about orange or white.

Anyone have any detail on how they're painting the E-series? I noticed when the P5 paint color poll results were announced, that white came in second, which is why I assume E1 was painted white. Blue came in 3rd with black coming in 4th. So will that mean E2 will be blue and E3 will be black...

Super late to check this thread but I was so excited to finally see the P5! Lunch with Mike and his wife was great and I'm glad to me other enthusiasts. I will be posting up pictures in a separate thread later because I took many! I also got word from the Elio crew that the Camaro steering...

Messed around on photoshopped. Posted this on EMOA too. Made the P5 true blue with a carbon fiber dash and needle instrument cluster. Hope you like!

So here are my thoughts on the P5: 1.) I like the new prototype, but there are definitely minor refinements to be done which I'm sure will become more apparent on the E-series. Minor things such as nuts, bolts, clamps, fasteners will probably look like they belong to the Elio in the production...

The rear tire on a motorcycle is the drive tire and rubber compound is softer on motorcycles for increased traction. The P5 rear tire is free wheeling and will be made of standard automotive rubber compound.

They'll last just as long as or longer than the standard economy car tires. The P5 is a 1250lb car in which roughly 800lbs sit on the front two tires. 400lbs per 135 wide tire. To put that in a proportional perspective, that's 3lbs/mm. The standard economy car weighs about 2500lbs in which...
