Polaris will have it out in 2 weeks. no hype no bullshit. no deposits.... elio maybe in another 15 months???? elio aint even got an engine yet. I am glad I am not ALL IN
The more I think about the front fenders on the Elio the more problems I can see with the design. The biggest problem I can see is structural cracking from the road vibrations. These fenders are un sprung and will suffer from every bump and ripple in the roadway.
I am a pilot for the department of natural resources in Wisconsin and do wildlife monitoring all winter. It kind of makes me a bush pilot.. I got caught playing doctor in first grade and my nickname has been Dr.Bob ever since. I still play Doctor however so I guess I could very well be a...
you are right. but the problem with the full fenders is when you park for a while the brakes will get wet and freeze. I fly airplanes in the north country and I always take the fairings off before winter to avoid wheel freeze up during flight
There really hasn't been a lot of news lately. I guess no news is good news. Seems like the reservations are coming in at the rate of 500 per week. Now that is $3,500,000.00 of product ordered a week. On a car that may start production in a year or so. I have no doubt the deposits will...
I did not even hear about an Elio until less than a month ago. I put my deposit down the very next day. Since then 3 of my friends put down a deposit after I told them about it. For me this car is a no brainer even at $10,000.00... If one of the big auto makers sees this as a viable design...
I am ahead of a couple hundred million who haven't put anything down. My decision to order one came the same day I saw pictures of it. That was less than 10 days ago.
I guess I am a chicken I only put in for the $100.00 refundable deposit. I absolutely want one but I am willing to wait until they have built 10,000 or more. It seems to me that the first cars off the line are prone to little problems and being a little later I may get a better car..
I ordered me one of these Elio's too!!! it was love at first sight... I pray they get it on the market, it is slicker than snot. I got caught playing Doctor in first grade and the name stuck.
the Wisconsin motorcycle permit is merely a written test and is good for 6 months and can be renewed twice before you need a practical test. Jees Louise!
I am from Wisconsin also and I already have a motorcycle endorsement so I have no concerns. A motorcycle permit is not all that hard to get and a little training would not be a bad thing. Due to the profile of the Elio you need to be aware that you will not be seen as well as a standard...
