Just a random thought of how it COULD get done.
I moved on to Toyota and the Prius Hybrid, so a hybrid, rather than electric is my power plant. They have the background to do it right and the resources. They also have a worldwide market so they could spread the minimum number of units across...
A hit man is far cheaper and modern politicians have become repeat customers. It's always suicide by two bullets to the back of the head at least 5 feet away. (no gunshot residue)
But the cost of buying a ME is very low. A threat.
I love how they just skip the part where you still pay for electricity. It's not free. However, if they do electrify, I hope it is with standard 110V or at least 220V standard plugs and not some crazy alternative you can't find anywhere.
The biggest benefit with going electric is the...
As technology advanced, the promise of 84MPG has lost some appeal. I now drive a Toyota Corolla Hybrid that gets 53 MPG in a traditional 4 wheel configuration and it cost $20K. But it's IN MY DRIVEWAY!
It may not have the COOL factor, but it has the REAL factor.
I went from a 2000 F-350 16 MPG...
I'm up early this morning and THIS was a huge surprise. I admit I'd given up. I did notice Paul was listed as Founder and CEO, but not as a Board Member so I wonder if there was a significant Organizational change.
With the new 2021 copy-write date, I'm even wondering if it underwent...
To be honest, it's dead. But I will not complain that Paul TOOK me because it was always very risky and it just didn't pan out. I knew that going in.
Unfortunately, Paul just didn't kiss the right asses in Washington and he was passed over for the tremendous tax payer funded subsidies offered...
Have I given up? Pretty much. It was a grand dream that "bit" the dust. I just got a hybrid Corrolla and it's pretty much packing the economy I wanted. The bottom dropping out doesn't offer hope that economy will be much of a factor in the near future either.
It was always more of a hope than an expectation for me. I always understood this was the likely outcome.
I knew it was a lost cause when they started down the Crypto path for funding.
It would have been fun.
My expectations were never high since I was well aware of the risk associated with start-ups in a mature field. But I have to agree that the absence of new information and Crypto being the last new info have combined to lower my expectation to that of winning the lottery.
There is a significant difference between new posts and new information. Almost all of the information about the car and building of it is somewhat dated and keeps getting rehashed.
New information is usually something like, we have plans we can't tell you about because of X, Y or Z. And the...
If Constitutional Rights can be chipped away, then I suggest we start with denying the right to vote to any unarmed citizen on the grounds they do not take their citizenship seriously enough to vote.
The Feds will never know if I have arms or not. "Well regulated" in the Constitution is more closely thought of as STANDARDIZED in today's usage. What we call "regulation" today was inconceivable to our founders. The difference is profound. In it's original meaning, it meant to make standard...
Part of the confusion is probably the first two letters of the name. EL which many will assume stands for electric. Writers no longer do much research because there is no longer any cost in getting it wrong, just for getting it late.
