Comrades, I'm sorry to say that I've lost faith in Elio Motors. I sold my 50 shares for a 50% loss. I'm still keeping my eyes on Elio's progress, of course. I'll jump right back in if I see any improvement.
I may never get to drive my Elio, but today I put this cool Elio window decal on my Fusion. Thanks Tom Schaefer. It may be a sign of my over enthusiasm and lack of judgement, but it's a lot cheaper than my $1,000 t-shirt and bumper sticker.

I THOUGHT I'D SEND ELIO A MESSAGE JUST TO SEE IF I WOULD GET A RESPONSE. I ASKED THEM THIS WISEACRE QUESTION ON SATURDAY. THEY ACTUALLY SENT A RESPONSE TODAY. ATLEAST SOMEONE IS READING THE MAIL:

Thanks for the email JT...
Just wondering if it's only my imagination, or does Elio stock seem to move in the opposite direction of the stock market. If DJI is up, Elio is down, and vice versa. Has anyone else noticed that, and can you explain it?
I'd rather drive an Elio too, but I contacted Electra Meccanica today to make a reservation with them. I want to cover my ass and make sure my $1,000 deposit is put to good use.
Maybe I'll end up with both.
Hello Jay from El Segundo, Ca. Welcome to the owners group. This is my go-to reference to straighten my head out whenever I start to worry if I'll ever get my own Elio.
I only drive 36 miles roundtrip, 5X/week, but I go between LAX area and downtown LA. I'm dying to cruise in the HOV lane while driving all by myself. Elio should pay me commission for all the auto-cycles I'm going to sell to those suckers who are stuck in gridlock and watch me fly by.
I finally saw an Elio in person at the LA Show. There was plenty of room for me in the front seat of the e1c. I didn't get to sit in the backseat because it was folded down with a set of golf clubs in there. I did sit in the back seat of the P5. I'm not the biggest man (6'205#), but I...
I also have a Fidelity stock owner account. I am hopefully in the process of transferring my 50 EM shares to Fidelity. As instructed I printed the Transfer Assets to Fidelity forms. Now Fidelity wants me to also include an Elio Motors stock statement, with the account number on it. I...
I bought a '73 Mercury Capri for $750 with a mom and pop loan when I was 16. I remember it being fun to drive. It's major defect was I remember needing to replace front end bushings repeatedly because the front end would shimmy violently when I slowed down to a certain speed. It also had...
Congratulations and welcome to the waiting game. Keep positive and enjoy the anticipation, I guess. That sounds fun driving home from the factory. I think I'll just pick mine up at the dealer.
I just joined this group today. I upgraded to All In a couple of months ago. I'm # 16,754. I liked the looks of company so much I purchased 50 shares of stock when it was first offered. I'm hoping for the best and I'll take mine black.
