I read it that way also but would be worried about potential early reservations in the first few hundred in 2019, if it occurs, and what price FUV would they be offered.
Yea, this article and the $11,900 reference is confusing. I think the $11,900 comment is a mistake in the article.
I am in Georgia and have a 2K+ reservation number so I don't see a FUV for me until next year. However, if my reservation number were to come up and the ~ $2K model is all they...
Correct. With a $1K All-In deposit, my $500 bonus and the binding agreement, the remaining price for my base model Elio should be $5,500. I will add some options but I sure hope Elio Motors can make it.
Thanks for re-earthing the link to the offer. I have the $7K price and did the binding agreement and got a conformation email.
So back to my original question, I have a $7K base price, excluding my $500 bonus, therefore Elio can make all the modifications they want like a different drivetrain...
But did you also digitally sign a binding commitment to purchase that was offered in 2017 I believe it was? That agreement was suppose to lock in our price for those who did so.
I forget the final price $7150 if I recall, that those of us $1000 all in reservation holders got when we executed a binding agreement to purchase. (Not to count the reservation bonus which in my case is $500.) Would not the bonding agreement protect our price?
Thanks for you comments. As far as the potential $1K promotion, I don't consider ~ 3K reservations very many. My # is suppose to come up in ~ 1stQTR 2019 and I have to make a decision. I was wondering where you heard they have low profit margins? (Certainly Elio does. I think that's one of...
I wish I could get more specifies on the "Hard Shell" and "Soft Shell" doors or what ever they are. I Would like to see pictures and which/what can be removed, how easy, etc. I need to make some hard decisions by 2019.
I have asked Arcimoto twice somewhat recently about a promotion for us $1,000 all in Elio reservationist that can be applied to the cost of their EV like a SOLO did/was offering Elio reservationist. I even asked if the credit could be applied to options and not the base vehicle cost. I get no...
Why are the outside original lights now yellow or amber? Weren't they originally the headlights? Will they be used for something else or will they go away?
I read the following post on Yahoo Finance I thought was somewhat insightful.
First let me say that I am not an investor or spot in line holder, nor am I an investor in Overstock parent company of tZero.
I have been following this as an observer, and from the current situation of things here...
Saw a post the other day recalling Paul's 76 week window to make it into production once funding has been received. Well, as of now that pushes production into January 2020. So much for 2019 production!
Wow, $10K is a large average price. Buyers must be planning for a lot of options over the $7,500 price. I would not recommend another $5K since I original mentioned $12K and you thought that was to high. I like the $12K to see if they could get into production.
What higher price do you think some buyers' would go for that would allow a less costly production model for a while to get to production and put some vehicles on the rood? What do you think of ~ $10K?
I see why your "Tag" is Grumpy :). I dislike no one and have no disdain for anyone, nor a desire to upset them. I do not have a sensitivity issue and feel everyone should be allowed to speak their mind and yes some do it with much more though and others just complain about other people and...
