I see that. I have been looking to see if there is any news causing the stock to jump today. My account shows that I am up 367% right now. It would be great if Paul has decided to surprise me for Christmas with delivery of my White Elio.
I remember when this site used to be a lot more fun when we had optimism about the future of holding Elio Rallys in Ohio and meeting fellow owners in person like Zelio instead of reading her comments on the internet. Politics is definitely a negative subject these days. It is a crazy world we...
61 and hoping to someday soon see my Elio in the driveway, like lots of others. They make the Vanderhall 3 wheeler here in Utah, and it may be an option too. They haven't put a roof on it and it doesn't get 80 mpg, but it looks like a lot of fun.
That sounds great for you, congrats. It is great to have things work out for you. You are right I don't know your story. I am glad it is working for you.
It sounds like you are not really the one the Elio was meant for if you are choosing the Tesla instead. The Tesla looks like a great car, but it isn't basic transportation or an "and vehicle". The Elio may not have been what you needed anyway. I still hope you get one though as an "and" car...
You would think that we should easily beat a bike. I have 40,000 miles on my 07 KLR and got between 50 and 65 mpg depending on my speed. My 2014 CB500X gets a solid average of 64 over my 12000 miles I have put on it. 84 mpg is going to be tough to get, but I am hopeful for about 60-70. That...
The Bugatti bike is nice, but Thoreau may not have meant that bike when he pictures the cost of his bicycle. Same as most people don't think of an Elio when bring a new car. Cool bike though. Bring it to the first Elio Rally and let me take a spin on it.
Nothing in the World can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent...
I have read a lot of posts over the years and I really enjoyed Z's. East Keester is also very optimistic and positive. Who else is a favorite that you guys follow who seems to always add positive energy to their posts? I love Coss and Brower. Give me some more people that really add to the...
Zelio was a great cheerleader, and it seems like our rep from East Keester is doing a pretty good job of carrying on. We may get a full band going if we get a little good news from Paul every once in a while. Go Elio!
It would be nice if it had a towing capacity of 20,000 lb. But I think that might be asking too much. I would give up on the towing though if they would just build my Rocket silver manual transmission Elio and tell me to come pick it up in Shreveport.
I also picked up a new rig instead of my Elio, but instead of 84 mpg it only gets 8.4 mpg. Had to replace my RV tow rig. 1997 GMC 1 ton with 454 cu inch gas engine. $2000. I have $5000 left over to buy fuel. That is 17,500 miles for free.
Keep up the good work LillyMay. We are having a hard time staying optimistic and we all know that it gets darkest before the dawn. Pretty dark and foreboding on the Elio stage. I look forward to the day they deliver mine, but am not holding my breath. I know the probability of driving mine...
