I believe in climate change. It ALWAYS changes. LOOK AT GEOGRAPHICAL HISTORY. Several hundred years ago they were growing grapes in Greenland and England for gosh sakes. At one time, my home state of Michigan was buried with more than a mile of ice. In the U.S. there was snow in July in the...
You're right Top. Several archaeologist said that these "mini earthquakes" have always been there but the seismic instruments are now so sensitive that they can now be recorded
I like the looks of the sport fenders but as you turn those exposed wheels it seems like the body would be exposed to spray and crap in anything but dry sunny weather and I live in Louisville Kentucky not Arizona.
Congrats Bilgerat. Is your wife prepared to have you home and not on the river?
The best part of being retired is that you can now do things in the middle of the week when everyone else are working like going to the Detroit Auto show and see the Elio display on a Tuesday!
I have been a motorcyclist since 1968 and I know the Elio is not a motorcycle. However, I don't take the extremes in heat and cold as I did even 5 years ago. I hardly rode this summer because it was so damned hot. When I saw an Elio ad on the Stewart Varney show on Fox Business network, I said...
I had a 70 beetle in college in Kalamazoo Mi and there was plenty of snow. Rear engine over the drive wheels worked great. However, the lack of weight in the front resulted in terrible understeer.
The Elio with front engine and front wheel drive with traction control & anti-lock brakes should...
Look at how the old air cooled Volkswagen windows were mounted with a rubber gasket. My 67 Beetle has fixed windows but have a set of pop open windows to be installed after Schultz gets a new paint job.
The main thing is to vent the cabin when the front windows are open. A mechanical vent in...
For two to travel it wold be easier to tow a motorcycle cargo trailer or what I want is a small pop up camper. If a 750cc motorcycle can do this, it should be no problem for the Elio. Gee; the milage might drop to 70 MPH. I can live with that.
I am greatly disappointed that there was an Elio here in Kentucky at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo and no one told us Kentuckians that it was here!
Come on. I can't fly to Vegas at the drop of a hat.
LET US KNOW NEXT TIME.

I'll bet that a lot of us will gladly give up some milage for more performance from tires and a turbo charger. Hell, 65 MPG would be great. If not on the option list, after market. Anybody agree?
