Elio Motors - The Specs

Last week, we talked big picture — Elio is good for America. This week’s Tech Talk speaks to the nitty, gritty details that our Elio fans want to know about their favorite future vehicle. Here’s some facts and figures you can share to help in our quest to spread the Elio word.

Sure, that's a lot of detail. But, it's these small details that add up to to a vehicle that will revolutionize the way Americans move.

Whoa now, a Tech Talk that actually got a little technical, with numbers and such? Crazy.

Good on them for putting all in one place for easy reference.

I'd like to put this out there... Totally my thinking here.

$40M raised already "This will take us through engineering phase"
+$70M in "expected extra equipment sale"
=$110M total. Now, I know the equipment isn't sold yet but if you can be a little optimistic, $110M is getting closer to their goal of $200M!

Now, $90M... 40K reservations=10K reservations at $1,000 all-in (current trend) would be another $10M... so now, I think it reasonable to think Elio would have $120M soon... and the nay-sayers can now swoop in and say Elio can't get the last $80M for this or that reason. I hope Elio shows a running IAV motor soon so the "all talk, no action" folks will ease up.

I'd say things are looking up.

Oh, KTBS just ran another story on the news... well, it is old news about back before Elio had secured the plant.

I just posted about the numbers, being for the P4 or P5 but, realistically, these numbers can't be 100% until the final version is completed. Who knows what kind of changes will appear in the end product. Looks like another list of the wants/goals and not real world stuff. I did delete the last post.
