Ok, I know, a real BS heading... but at least it got you reading!

Here's an idea or maybe just a notion. I'm curious to know what's going on at the Shreveport plant (if anything). I don't mean just what Elio releases to the press, but what's actually happening. It would be cool if some of you guys who live near the plant would go by now and then, scope out the place for what info you can, and let us all know. Any new equipment being moved in, how many cars in the parking area, are there people actually doing anything, any activity at all. If any of you decide to do this we would all be in your debt. You might want to start a new thread for what you find. May I suggest you title it "The Elio Scouts".

Any volunteers?

p.s. I just looked at the plant on Google Earth. In the image dated last June, sorry to say, the place looks deserted...

I just went by it the first weekend of May (Daughter graduated from College there) and there isn't any outward signs of activity. There were a few vehicles parked there but I got the feeling they were security guards or grounds keepers. It won't take long to get the plant in shape to produce but I was really hoping for some kind of Elio sign there but maybe they don't want to bother with spending money on a temporary sign that'll be replaced. After all, that plant is huge and will probably get a really big sign on the main building (the fabrication building, most likely).
