With the headlights on the P4 the flying tiger would be a very good design for it! Although I might want to go with the olive drab, small tiger mascot,Chinese script and emblem that the P-40 has. Then again, the flying tiger motif looks good in a lot of applications all by itself!

I can fly formation and I quite like the silver....not sure about the checker board Y fronts on the nosecone, though.

Think they might have been white and black on most of the real P-51's I'm sure easily switched off.
