The line just to get a look at it!
General Outside Shots
A few overall views to get a better feel of the bodylines.
Doors, Hatches, and such-
As for the rear hatch, some angles are deceiving. Here it looks larger than it actually is-
This angle gives a much better perspective of how small the opening is between the raised hatch and the body-
The actual trunk is the size of a mid to small gym bag, though squishing I could probably fit my stuffed "3-day assault pack" but certainly nothing larger. It is less than 12" tall at the back end and around 16"-18"wide judging by the flyer's size.(wish I had taken a small tape measure!)
The door is certainly large enough to permit easy ingress and egress opening a foot or two past the outside of the front fender.(good spot for use of a tape measure again)
The hood was pinned in the rear and flips forward vintage BMW style(though a less complicated mechanism) giving great access to the engine compartment, at a glance it appears the engine is forward of the front axle centerline and very low sling in the chassis which will certainly help handling.
Front of the engine also has plenty of room(though it seemed to be lacking an AC condenser and hoses), and the IAV engine is VERY similar in size/layout.
and one of the oft hated on fuel filler!
Suspension, Wheels, and Brakes
standard cv axles, tie rods, and a QA1 coil-overs(hope these make it to production though I doubt it)
Shot showing the stout mounting of the A arms with standard poly bushings.
Swing arm, showing simple mounting of the hub assembly(very user serviceable compared to some motorcycle/car setups) Backside of rear brake disk can also be seen.
Wheel/hub is either 4x108 or 4x100(couldn't accurately measure my hub impression) Either is common and should represent no problems in aftermarket wheel selection.
Clearance to the frame above the wheel is enough for suspension travel, which given the diameter of the wheel explains the shallow trunk.
to be continued. . .
