Cool your jets, boys, I'm just bouncing some ideas here. I haven't contributed any money so I don't know what the contract says, other than you can't sell your place in line. There are a couple of stores in town that push how so much of their stuff is all-american made. Then it hit me: could one of these stores or chains run a contest to win an Elio?
I'm thinking to start now because of all the legal hoops for jumping, but the plan goes something like this:
Company puts its $1,000 down to reserve a spot. When it's clear that Elio has gotten all the funding and govt. approvals they need, the company can start advertising the giveaway and soliciting names, phones, and email addresses.
I guess my question is if there are or will be major differences between an individual person's buy-in and a corporate buy-in.
