Nope, not a lot of money. They live on a very fixed income but do have the free education, medical/dental care. With that being said, the income is barely subsitance level, the education/medical/dental are probably all minimal. But if they Cuba develops along the line of China (not sure how far they are willing to stretch the definition of Socialism), there could be a big change in their lives. We'll see what the future holds. Who knows, maybe Elio could become the "national car" of Cuba- inexpensive, functional, safe. Except for more room, about all you'd need!Cubans don't have money for a car. From what I understand, Cuba buys from any country they want. Only the USA has an embargo against them. So it seems they just keep what they have.
