I read about the Dragon Vehicles. I found their site. It seems similar to the Elio.

It looks like it is a model.

It is like a stretched out Sam Cree

How does the person in the rear get out?

slowly, and as a previous string mentioned a decapitated. burning driver would seem less of an obstacle in this.
Hinge looks like 2 pieces, hope it got a.c.( no opening windows)

In the top two photos of that yellow prototype you can tell that's a really old model; look at the crazing and cracking in the paint on the roof.
I would put it at 25 to 30 years old minimum.

The blue prototype with the really happy passengers is a rear wheel drive "pusher" I'm guessing the top speed isn't very much.
That driver seat reminds me of a lawn chair

No doubt it's a model; either clay or wood. Those windows are rather opaque also <kidding>
