Anyone in Indiana going to attend one of the last events for this year? I was looking at which one might be 'close' - Rome, GA seems to be the closest. That would still be 8-9 hours away. I'm not sure that I'll be going. Perhaps there will be one closer next year.

Pretty sad that they won't come to Pittsburgh...it would probably generate sales.

It was brought up a couple times on Facebook.

If I want to see it, I would have to go to VA or the Carolinas.

On a good note...there may not be as many around me so I could get the orange color I want. I would hate to get this new and exciting car and have 5 others in the area with the same color!

I wouldn't mind going to the Carolinas. One of the few places I haven't been. I just got back from driving to Southern Florida so I'm not looking for another long road trip for a little while. By next year, I would hope they'll be touring with a production model.

Next year we hope to be having a driving experience. They are planning on touring with models for reservists to be able to actually drive. I very definitely look forward to that. :-) Z

That would certainly be a doable road trip.

They have said the P5 will not be used for the tour show. It is a pre-production model only. Sorry to disappoint you. Of course, that could always change but they have been saying it for a couple of months now. :-) Z

I am sure we will eventually see the P5 or an E-Series on tour however my guess is this will be a number of months down the line after they have enough built and have competed enough testing that they can spare one from the vehicle development program. It would not surprise me to see one show up on TV for interviews and such from time to time however as much as I would like to see the new model on the regular tour I definitely encourage EM to keep their focus and priorities on vehicle development.

As for car shows EM has so far been avoiding the traditional car shows as they are expensive and not really EM's target market for reservation holders. A motorcycle manufactures show would be much closer to EM's target demographic for reservation holders however even that would be based on cost and scheduling. I do expect this to change in the future either just before or after EM moves into retail sales
