I happened to record TRANSLOGIC on tv yesterday (Velocity channel) featuring "Small Automakers: Big Dreams) and there it was, our own beloved Elio! And compared to the other 2 featured, by far the Elio looked more "normal" and have better chance of worldwide acceptance once launched. One of the "car" from SPIRA is all electric, made out of mostly "foam", air bag was installed outside of the car, 3 wheels w/ one up front and should sell for $7-9000.00. The other was also electric from ILLUMINATI, 200 mpg, Delorean doors and costs $200,000. Good luck w/ these 2!

Our Elio hands down is the better "&" alternative reverse enclosed trike out there. I know good things can't be hurried up so I'm in for the long haul!
When they took the other vehicles out on the road did you notice how harsh the ride was?

They emphasizes it is safe. Does it have crumple zones made of softer steel and the passenger cabin made of stronger steel. I would love to see the insurance institute test it and see the results.
Perhaps they did not have much money so they made it out of inexpensive materials then decided to "spin" a story saying they made it out of these materials in order to make it safe.
