Thank You for a rather pessimistic video Joeker88. I had always hoped you were not one of those eternal optimists.
Elio Motors has to be all about the funding to go to production now, nothing more. This is the last step and it is a big one.

Dilemma, dilemma! I have a web site with about 12,000 members and have thought about how many of those probably don't know about the Elio. I would love to make them aware of it. Who knows, maybe in that 12,000 there are the 49 needed to reach the 65,000 goal.... I could easily post a promo for Elio on the site or I could send out an email to all members in about 5 minutes. But, I've done neither. I feel bad because I would like too. The thing is, like Joeke88, I'm having doubts if the Elio will ever be built. If I promote it and it doesn't happen and a bunch of my members loose their money because of me.... Well, you can see where I'm going. Darn shame; can't promote something I'm excited about because it could come back and bite me in the ....

Have you considered posting it as advertising/marketing vs as a recommendation/promotion?

A simple linked image may be enough to increase awareness. Does your site have a space for such a thing?

Put a referral I'd on it and track it yourself... Maybe Elio will choose to pay for advertising on your website someday - if Elio resonates with your audience.

The property on N 24th St is a multi-use office building with multiple tenants in a mixed business/residential area of Phoenix. The building is owned by BOMAR Properties LLC, and there are four other tenants, as well as BOMAR, listed on the Maricopa County Assessors web site since rental properties pay taxes on the space.

Can't web services and I.T. people can be anywhere? I'd also wonder if Elio runs its own server, or is in the clouds.
What I am wondering is when Elio opens its Shreveport operations, what will consolidate into Louisiana.
Will Paul move there? Will the Detroit team move there?

Web hosting can be done anywhere, cloud, physical server, multiple servers. There was an outage last week that was caused by a miss typed entry at one of Amazon's server farms that caused 100's of sites to go down. Most is cloud based unless it's of a sensitive nature, financial, legal, law enforcement.

I was in Phoenix in January and the discussion of the Elio office came up, and a friends wife that works for a law firm that handles corporate real estate told me that the building is like the Regus offices, where you can rent space by the week, monthly or yearly to have a office presence with a physical address but it's not a permanent investment. You can use it for meetings, presentations, conferences etc.

I've thought of that, but there's problems.... But what I will do is post an ad (free) for Elio as soon as they start coming off the line.
