Mark said that 25K were to be built this year too. So, then everything he says is true? If so, why is he not still steering the Arcimoto ship as he must know what he's doing. Yet he walked away when he never had to. Explain to me why he disappeared. We'd like to know. It's not because of the DUI either because that was the prime opportunity to turn a bad into a good. Think about it, Arcimoto CEO and founder pushes for fun to be with the FUV instead of alcohol. Then sponsor a number of programs. Instead, he went away into some unknown area and left Arcimoto to fail.
I give MF credit for providing the leadership to cross the production finish line and the poor management decisions that followed by not focusing on scaled production plans, that lead to failure. The $10 million to purchase Tilting Motor Works and additional FUV funds wasted on the development of the Mean Lean Machine……….nothing to do with the FUV……lost focus.

Better News! There are actual ‘FUV Owners‘ scheduling rallies. I recall the discussion and excitement about the idea of Elio Rallies back in 2014. My FUV test drive experience was so much fun I’m hoping the few remaining dedicated Arcimoto employees can find the resources required to resume production…….limited or scaled production numbers.

SO, HOW DID IT GO? PLEASE TELL,
9 FUV's showed up. Another rally set up by the same person that always seems to do it in the same area (around Eugene, OR). As for all of the other rallys around the US, most never happen because lots of the FUV's are broke down and to get service, well takes a while. If you live in Eugene, then FUV's look like they are over the top popular. So, since the company is just doing local service and gave up on making anything (hard to do when you auctioned off all of your manufacturing equipment) it's pretty much a lost cause that is surviving on some service and insurance money. If you are interested in some fun, FUV's are probably worth around $5K now (about $2K when they are broke). Most likely it'll break down and you better be ready to work on it or wait until the roving tech guy somehow is in your area. Then wait on those parts to be sent to you as good luck on sourcing them.

FUV, the most fun you'll have is the day it gets loaded on a rollback and onto a new home.

The owners like their FUVs and enjoy their daily commuter and periodic scheduled FUV rally’s. Some owners have logged on 25-30,000 miles. Also, there are 2 or 3 Mobile Techs that do provide service the Cities and States beyond Eugene. Had I not cancelled my FUV order back in 2019………I may have enjoyed the ride, but the lack of service when needed would have stressed me out. However, I would have kept it and used it as a garden sculpture. It would have been the first vehicle I ever named based on my test drive…...’Rocket’.

I give Arcimoto credit due for reaching production status……….. short lived as it was……due to bad management decisions and lost focus. I admire the few dedicated employees still hard at it providing the limited service and parts needed. Perhaps they will find the funding needed to bounce back into production. I doubt it, but if they do I’ll buy one.
