I see my mistake. Thanks for mentioning it. I did talk to Elaphae last year at CE about this unsprung weight. They agree it's an issue for sportscars and supercars. On the other hand, the biggest issue they run into is, the running of high voltage wires and coolant lines to the motors as to why companies are hesitant. The unsprung weight seems to be internet forklore and not the real issue. With them working with McLaren, this is what they are mainly working on because they know if they can get a properly engineered plumbing and electron flow to the hubs, it will take off for regular consumer vehicles and not the super high performance ones.Please refer to everything before the colon.
