The weight of a person that has fit in it just fine was in the neighborhood of 330 lbs. It may have been more.

Been there, done that!![]()
Weighing a1/4 to 1/3 of the weight of the Elio will only reduce the milage!!, :-)Former 64 incher, now down to 54 inches and it makes a ton of difference.
No, I've been doing Krav Maga and the belt tests are killers if you are at my weight, so I'm trying to lose it.Weighing a1/4 to 1/3 of the weight of the Elio will only reduce the milage!!, :-)
Congrats on taking responsibility for your weight, hope the wake-up call wasn't medically necessary. Mine was after to surgeries (PAD) did I come to my senses.
Unfortunately, it was medically necessary. I began at 480+ because that's where my "heavy duty" scale pegged out. After a bout with septic shock, I was down to 430 after 10 "missing" days in one hospital and four weeks in an after care facility got me down to 420. After initially using up my personal quota of determination and perseverance to get to 390, I got back up to 440 when I realized I had to overcome my fear of surgery (family history of problems in the 80s with bands) and got the bypass approved.Weighing a1/4 to 1/3 of the weight of the Elio will only reduce the milage!!, :-)

That's an inspiring story, so many think-Unfortunately, it was medically necessary. I began at 480+ because that's where my "heavy duty" scale pegged out. After my second start with the pre-op diet (the first ended up with Kidney Failure), I got down to 372 and had the surgery in March 2014. I gradually lost down to a low of 269 after a bout with the flu and stabilized at about 280. Now I'm looking to take it down about fifty more by better food choices.
Good luck with your plans and don't rule out a little help along the way. But avoid the septic shock "plan". It isn't worth it.
BTW, It was a great day when I squeezed into a normal size XL and stock Walmart Jeans after years of Plus Sizes up to 7XT shirts and 64" waists from Big and Tall stores.
Thanks. I always have people guess my weight and I tell them they won't hurt my feelings. Most guess way too low, and I even had one of those Carnival guys do it and I know he wasn't trying to be polite and he missed by 50 lbs, so I won a prize..
If the seat moves all the way back and my gut doesn't hit the steering wheel, I'm happy.
One other thought I had. Drink holder?
