Anyone from NJ or the tri-state area out there on this forum?
If so, could you help me with a little poll.

    1. Where are you located? City/State

    2. What is your level of interest?
    A. Just Window Shopping right now
B Dipped a Toe in (reservation but refundable)
    C. In with both feet (all-in)

    3. If you have a reservation, when did you reserve it?

    4. If all in for a $1000 what is your number?

    5. Of the colors available? What is your first and second choice?

    6. If you could choose a different color what would it be?

    7. As we get closer to the production date, would you be interested in getting together to meet in person to discuss the Elio, your possible uses for it, etc?

To start the ball rolling here is my info.
    1. Pittstown, NJ
    2. C. for $1000
    3. August, 2013 after I sat in the P3 on tour
    4. #1300

    6. British Racing Green with a Tan Interior
    7. Yes, possibly at a central restaurant like Mastoris.

    Thanks!
Looking forward to the vehicle and passing the time until I am in the Cockpit. :-)

Hi Blueskybob, I am no where near your location but love your enthusiasm. I also like your poll. I'm wondering if that is the poll that was mentioned on one of the other posts. I'm sure you will find other like minded folk out there to join you. I joined last week and have had some of the best laughs from reading this site. Enjoy. Z (disclaimer - I am not an official greeter simply a friendly person.) :-)

I can see making it a tri-state group like we do with another club I am a member of.

I was waiting to sit in one before ordering. So last night after sitting in the one at the Stamford Town Center, I placed my order. At 6'5" I don't fit many car. It is not my over all height, but my legs.my knees are just off the dashboard. This is a way to make me lose weight to fit better. Looking forward to driving the 20+ miles to work with it.

Welcome to the forum from Holmdel. My wife and I drove to Stamford yesterday also but we were there before 10am. I am glad you found the NJ local section. No one else, other Blueskybob and I, in NJ has checked in here yet. If you like, go to the "Introduce Yourself" section on the main page and say Hi to the gang and maybe also do the little poll Blueskybob formatted in post #1 in this thread.

We went up last night, sat and watched everyone buzz about the car. This is something very hot. My friends can't wait to turn one into a track car. I've wanted a dumb buggy, for some time. The body of a Meyers cost more then the Elio. So I traded my buggy dream for the Elio. This is going to be a hard year, I hate waiting.

Derrick, Welcome to the forum and the Elio fans, most who are as excited as you. I built my own dune buggy with a Meyers body in the early 70's (yes I'm old) and drove it for years. Had canvas top and side curtains for the wet/cold weather seasons. The Elio will provide all the creature comforts I have come to expect and certainly understand your desire to do the same. Glad to know others in NJ are excited about this historic vehicle and new form of transportation. Welcome and enjoy the journey with us.

I live in NJ! Nice to see I am not the only one! I just placed a $100 deposit down at the NY Autoshow last weekend. I am now doing research on the Elio. Eager to learn more.

Greetings and welcome to the forum. There are a lot of forums and chat groups out there and a wealth of info to dig through.
Be aware there is also a lot of opinions and mis information because we do not have a reference database to refer too.
