Jim, Welcome to the forum and the Elio family. Here you will find the latest information on the development and production schedules for this historical vehicle. The forum has plenty of positive, helpful and friendly people who will try to answer all your questions. Fortunately, we have a fair amount of people who are serious about the Elio but still have doubts about it becoming a reality. Its good to have them because they help serve as the honest brokers in the process. Welcome and enjoy the Elio experience as we wait for production to begin.

Thanks Jim_H! I was disappointed to just hear that production has been pushed back to the 3rd quarter of 2015. I worked at an automotive sunroof factory that was a startup, so I know firsthand that it is not easy to get a new factory off the ground! Months behind schedule, but they finally did get it up and running.

Hi and welcome from Oregon, JimG. I hope you enjoy this exciting adventure into the future of Elio ownership. You sound like the perfect person to give some advice about the pros and cons of having a sun roof. LOL That is one of the delights of this group.
