A few words of advice from someone who actually has a very good memory but knows better than to trust it - record them somewhere and lock them away if you must. It is better to have them recorded and not need them than to need them and not have them recorded. :-) ZI use the most secure method of all, I memorize them.
How well I know that. When I needed to change my password for the account where I used to work the password was so old I could not remember what it was. The only way I could change it was if I knew the old password. So I had to call them and go through all kinds of hoops to prove I was who I said I was so they could send me a changed password that I could change myself. Fortunately my phone service is unlimited anytime anywhere within the USA so I wasn't paying long distance charges. LOL :-) ZThat's what password reset is for.
I have better things to do with my limited memory than keep up with 200+ long and unique passwords, but if you can remember all yours and have them all be both unique and long enough to be secure than more power to you.I use the most secure method of all, I memorize them.
