It was back when the Government was only giving away money to electric car builders or the ones they figured would fail and not challenge GM. JMO

I beleive if they would have got the loan, we all would be driving in one today.

Yep, the problem has to be finances. Of course, if they build 14 prototypes this summer, that would help me in believing that this project just might happen. In the mean time, I'll just enjoy my $100 t-shirt, if I ever receive it
