Whilst at work today, I was thinking: Why are all these states changing their motorcycle laws for the purpose or exclusion/inclusion of autocycles? Our government can't get much done and/or even less correct - yet they have the foresight to see the upcoming change in transportation? HEY, YOU! YES THAT'S RIGHT I'M ASKING YOU - ALL YOU NAYSAYERS AND EMotors PESSIMISTS: Why do you think this is happening? Why are State legislatures across this Nation working to make it easier for an auto start-up company - which (YOU SAY) is not going to make it into production? YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT. JUST SHUT THE HELL UP AND MOVE ON. No government is going to go through the trouble to work to change existing laws if not for the benefit of Elio Motors and others to follow.

Right on Stephen. I helped a little to get the OHIO laws changed. The young gentle man who worked in Senator Seitz's office at the time help me to get the first elio bill corrected. It was all screwed up. It didn't cover the passenger because the young fellow didn't know the Elio will have two seats. It didn't address the 'novelist rider'. For the first year holding a motorcycle endorsement I wouldn't be allowed to drive a motorcycle at night or carry a passenger and I would have had to wear a helmet like anybody under 18 years old. Worst of all, the first elio bill / law didn't go into effect till January 1, 2017 ! But, they got it done in the Transportation budget bill. Everything is corrected and will go into effect in a few days, June
First.
Sentator Seitz, and my local representatives all had a hand in this change. It was important enough to get it in. I promised my local senator that I will let him drive mine when they come in. Joel Sheldrown is working on the last few states and I am confident he'll get it done. Now, why in the heck would a entities go though all that trouble? Must be a scam. OHIO #1685

HEY YOU!
I cheer loudly the recent wave of changes. My posts reflect that.
I too believe they are an indication of a receptive political environment.

But, "SHUT THE HELL UP?"
Totally angry, antagonistic and not appropriate on any forum.
If you are really confident in your beliefs, why would you care what others think or say?
Do you really think naysayers are responsible for people choosing not to come here, and this isn't?
You can "like" and condon this kind of behavior here if you want.
For me... the delivery just absolutely destroyed the message.
Thumbs down.

It has been written that .........."it is better to light one candle than to stand and curse the darkness"............
If you don't like what someone has to say, you are not compelled to respond to them or even look at their posts.
If you do respond to something that makes you mad, think about it several times before doing a final post.
Yelling in "bold upper case" will only raise your blood pressure and make other people ignore some of your valid points.
Worst case scenario, you can be "trolled" to the point where you are the one who gets blocked.

Edit: Now I'm going to make my 120 mile round trip to town and back to pickup some meds and think how nice it will be to do it in my Elio when I get it.

So, I won't get any super-special 'trophy points' from the moderators for the original post/thread. Do I REALLY care? No. Making friends and making nice is okay (if you're a PC politician). Me, I just want my Elio.
