Thinking about the blog announcement, of the upcoming first email to the 1k all ins, I'm not sure I can keep it a secret. I have friends here, who, for various reasons cannot/will not go to the 1k all in. I feel compelled to share whatever "inside information" might be forth coming!!

I reviewed my notes and see nothing I signed not allowing this bold move.

I think you misread the blog post. There's no secret email going to all 1k all-ins.
Just the standard spot-in-line email to people who have signed up for 1k all-in since 2015-11-16.

What email/blog announcement are you talking about? Do you have a copy of the notice you received? If so, either copy it in a PM to me; or post it here.

Yesterday's EM blog mentioned it
Before we get to the ICYMI part of the blog this week, we want to remind you that that the first Spot In Line (SIL) email of the year is emailing next week. What does that mean? The SIL is the production slot number that people receive when they have a $1,000 All In reservation. This number is the actual number in line for an Elio and is the number that people use when they post to social media i.e. Carlos #16 or Lloyd #15,916. T. We the SIL email goes out to those that made either a $1,000 All In reservation or upgraded to the $1,000 All In level in the last two months (since 11/16/15)nly send the email to the newly minted $1,000 All In reservation holders because once you get your SIL, it stays the same!
Bold my own, my point, what could be soon special that it ONLY ik alls get the email???

Yup finally gonna get my number. Then I'll use the calculator is determine the exact date my Elio will be making its way through the production line so I can buy the least expensive plane ticket and reserve a hotel room to pick it up in Shreveport.

Or I can just wait until my local dealer calls...

I would just like to know when they're going to start having test drives available to you can get a chance to pick what basics you want for your Elio.
Like which transmission, what color, and whatever else.
If I pick mine up at the factory I would like to have it the way I want it.
