The Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission (LMVC) is made up of people who own dealerships and other vehicle related businesses. This is a big conflict of interest. They tried to destroy EM by letting them exist for a while so a large fine could be accumulated. I thought EM would try to do manufacturing in another state but they are still going to try manufacturing in Louisiana. They tried to destroy EM once, and they will try to destroy EM again. This alone would detour investors.
EM should give the LMVC an incentive to let EM operate. EM should inform LMVC that no vehicles will be sold to Louisiana residents over the internet and no PEP Boys facilities in Louisiana will be commissioned to do repairs. Vehicles will only be sold to Louisiana residents through Louisiana dealerships, and repair of vehicles will only be performed at these dealerships.
