Legal: Motorcycle License And Helmet Laws

Is it true that you'll need a motorcycle license to drive the Elio? I have mine but it makes me think a lot of folks may be turned off by that. The DMV can be a traumatic place.

I talked to the VP at Lenox , and he said by the time it is released , that there should be no requirements for a helmet or motorcycle license. But we shall see:-). It not going to stop me from getting mine.

Judging by recent articles it looks like they will be correct and there won't be any extra requirements to drive the elio. That'll definitely be a plus for getting the company off the ground.

I think it's just about a done deal in 45 states right now.
