Hi from Arizona! ( I'm a day late and a dollar behind I see. )

So between Oklahoma and AR, who coins more colloquial sayings like the one I just did. You know like two bits short of a dollar?

In my case I'll erroneously combine two like, "Two bits short of a full rein on it." and leave it to everyone else to figure it out. :D

I had a friend from OK, he might say something like "one ass short of a team", which is indiscernible to most of us, yet "close enough to get the drift." (as in, a quality matched team of mules requires four from the same mother/father, and are very expensive to buy) so you and I would think he's saying the team is missing something, but that it's inferred that the full team isn't all that much better, an opposite inference from the actual meaning(sometimes).

But the way he used that one he meant, when everyone is doing their job it's a team, but when someone falls down for some reason it's just 3 asses (?mules?) tied down by a rope.
