Will there be any part of the Elio sale that is negotiable, like at a normal car dealership (Such as the car itself, the add ons, or additional warranties)? Or do you think every aspect of the Elio will be a set, firm, non-negotiable price?

If things weren't set, it'd be interesting to see what kind of deals were out there. But if not, that'd take away any anxiety over walking in to the store and making the purchase. About as simple and straight forward as you could get. Walk in, pick what you want, pay. No BS back and forth.

I think that car sales are going this route. Like CarMax or even Walmart.
Walk in and pay the price on the ticket.
Of course, even Walmart prices are negotiable, but rarely does anyone do this.

The sale of mine will be negotiable - of course, I might be asking more than list, given the size of the waiting list that will have formed by then.....

The EM no dealerships, direct to consumer Sales Model is based on one non-negotiable price for all, with inividual menu options. Simple, but there is always BS involved in any transaction.

Perhaps the price for any off the shelf parts used in the Elio are negotiable when still on the shelf.

it will be interesting to see if the warranty is transferable .... I can see that making a difference in resale value

No negotiations will take place for price. One price for the car and one price per option. I like that myself.
