Welcome to Elio Owners! Join today, registration is easy!
You can register using your Google, Facebook, or Twitter account, just click here.AS of 03/30/2014 we are at 13449 in reservations.....Way to go Elio !!
I think your estimate is a bit low...... the 12 days prior to the 13449, posting increased from 12340 a total of 1109 and that per day count is up significantly from the previous period. If reservations ONLY continue at the current rate your 26k will be met by mid August.I guestimate they will have 26K + reservations by years end @ 7k p/Elio = approx. $182 million in reservations
without a production car on the road..................hmmmmmm..........that should create some buzzzzzzzz..........![]()
Since you all love playing with the numbers, I will help you out. I have been keeping record since 1/23/14 (I like to know what is happening! :-))I think your estimate is a bit low...... the 12 days prior to the 13449, posting increased from 12340 a total of 1109 and that per day count is up significantly from the previous period. Now the first few dates are the date I recorded the number rather than the date Elio reported it. However I believe the March dates are all the dates Elio used. I don't know if there is an archive someplace to verify the dates Elio used. I do know that when I first met the Elio through my son, the reservations were between 6 and 7,000. That was early in January.
That gives us 5,286 reservations for that time period for an average of 89.59322/day.
I do love numbers and playing with them. Go Elio!!! LOLZ
I agree but unfortunately I don't know how to do graphs. I grew up in an era and place where I was considered strange because I liked math and I was a girl. I knew about your suggestion but hesitated to try a graph because I was afraid the date discrepancies would throw it off. I do know the relative numbers have been decreasing each period but this last time period showed a definite slowing in the rate of decrease. Does that make sense? I hope so. :-) ZIn a thread last week I asked for someone to do a graph. A graph would make it easier to see....so?
A real statistician would check and see if their is some exponential growth taking place as more of us tell more of us, and that is a huge factor if there is one.
