true but from reading the how are you going to use your Elio thread, not universal .... in reading post after post from mostly single folks about how an Elio will become their only vehicle, I can't help but think back to simpler times

Yes, especially for younger and older people I can see where an Elio as their only car could work very well.

These people already know that in their lives they only very rarely need a larger vehicle. When that happens they can call someone who has a larger vehicle or rent one as even renting a larger vehicle once a month is less expensive than buying and maintaining such a vehicle.

This is scary. I'm 2 months short of being 40 years older than you and we think alike! I have wondered if one of the attractions of the Elio is I won't always be asked to take people places. I hope it is simply because I love the vehicle and prefer it to having company some of the time. LOL :-) Z
