I just sent a PM which had some minus signs in it. When I sent it I saw that all the minus signs had turned into smilie faces.

How do I keep from having minus signs turned into smilie faces?

=sum(D550)
When I post this it may or may not change the - sign.

Edit: Well, in this regular post they did not change as they did in the PM.

Don't use "D" as colon D is a big smile. Use A: or B:

Yep, the message actually had "=sum(D550)" and it does show up as a smilie. Lesson learned!

Same type thing just happened to me last night. I meant to tell my wife "Please pass the plate of potatoes and peppers" But what I actually said was "You crazy witch, you've ruined my whole life!" So, yeah. Same thing.
