Simple bolt on to replace the factory lid to at least put some groceries in the rear bonnet.

This is a great item for the Elio accessories catolog which is sure to be out soon after production. I'm sure the printer of such catolog will purchase an email list from ElioMotors of all who have purchase an Elio, and fill your email box with all the aftermarket items like a new dash, gas cap relocating kit, backup cameras,trailer hitch, and even trailers, to name a few.How about this concept for an optional grocery getter lid?

My curiosity, and we really won't know until we get our babies, is will this affect the mpg more or less than a small trailer. I suspect less and it should cost less (I hope). :-) ZAround town, <40 mph, I doubt the aero effects or turbulence are very significant.
