If that was 7 days, we have 23/day. 43days at this rate.

Obviously, it will be the next week or two before we will know the full effect of the Detroit show. But the change should be obvious, given there are no other oddities mixed in there. This was probably the slowest rate of the year, seem likely 65k will be reached faster than that.

Based on the remaining reservation count of 992 and Feb. 11 being the start date of the Chicago Auto Show then:
1. With an average daily reservation rate of 40, Elio Motors could announce that the 65K goal was achieved at the opening of the Chicago Auto Show.
2. With an average daily reservation of rate 29, Elio Motors could announce that the 65K goal was achieved during the Chicago Auto Show.

Yes: 7 days, 23 per day.

So long as I've been watching, auto shows have never really had much of an effect on reservation rates. Personally, I don't expect anything to change the reservation rate much until one of two things happens: 1) They announce that funding has been received to start production, and 2) Elio's start rolling off the end of the line.
