Sideways Avatar

May be a duplicate thread, but All my pictures I download from my iPhone show up sideways on my avatar does anyone know how to fix this?

If you have Windows, open the image with the Photo Gallery, click the rotate icon at the bottom until it is oriented properly, then close it - will automatically save.

If you get an Adroid phone and ditch the I-Phone, that will solve your problems.

(just kidding, I'm a phone nerd and have friendly debates with my i-phone friends all the time )

Curious... That only happens when you take pictures holding the phone vertically instead of the camera-like horizontally, right?

No Lol, that happens on every pic I have holding it correctly maybe I should take one side ways so it will appear normal!, Or just use a window to load it.

Both ways are technically correct. On my phone, it takes higher resolution pictures and they are "right side up" if I hold it like I would watching full screen video. If I hold it like I was dialing numbers, the picture ends up sideways. That's why I asked. The documentation on phones is pretty weak.

On my iPhone, the pictures always come out right side up on my computer regardless of how the phone was held when it was taken.
