today I received a link from a friend to a video that I really enjoyed .... the video at this link was filmed at 1,000 frames per second .... it shows the impact of a bullet on various common items .... I'd sure hate to have to clean-up the mess ..

That's a Desert Eagle. Big magnum rounds, and a barrel that's too short to burn all the powder. Those rounds really need the long "Dirty Harry" barrels to get the most out of them. Same thing you see in the kids with cranked up diesel trucks blowing black smoke - wasted potential energy.

Very cool; one I caught was when the guy was firing at the peanut butter jar (around 1:51 to 1:52) the empty casing comes back and hits him in the mouth and drops (at least I looks like it hits him in the mouth, he does flinch)
