Daaaamn Coss, you're videos are on point today!

VERY informative. Do the clutches typically last the life of the vehicles? (250k miles)
Probably a good solution for the standard vehicle.

What about high torque solutions like large trucks?

I still want my old school manual with single clutch tho... because I'm old.... and grumpy...

What I remember from earlier discussions is a single clutch solution. The same transaxle as the manual with a robotic shifter.

Well it's actually solenoids, but having a little robot sitting there waiting to shift gears could be cool too ;)

Do you hook it up directly to the alternator for speed shifting? :becky:

Yep, solenoids + computer = robot. But the picture of an arm moving a gearshift is far more entertaining! :D
