Thank you for reply, I could think 3 things as below

1, Elio Motor handle everything's with State wherever customer lives in
( DMV send license plate to Elio motor? or my home? How long it will take? any typo on Doc's who will response? )

2, Customer paid what ever high tax rate between both State, like LA state and CA state ( which is me to CA more higher than LA )
(example: LA has 7% and CA has 9% than I need to paid 2% more when I registered at DMV in CA or paid in full at DMV in CA )

3, Elio Motor just distribute Car and Documents to registration for each State to Customers lives in
( Do registration by myself, that means don't have to paid a Tax in LA ?)
.

I personally like #3 with temporary tag for 30 days from estimate delivered date.

in NC with RV's .... the selling dealer collects applicable NC state / local sales taxes ..... buyer provides proof of insurance .... title transferred to loan company .... issues a 30 day temporary tag .... owner is responsible for handling the registration in their state and is responsible for all taxes and fees (note: sales tax is only collected in the state of the sale)
That sounds exactly like the process for new vehicles in Ohio, too. I've never bought a vehicle from out of state, so I don't know how, or if, that affects anything. I suppose I will find out when I get my Elio.

Auto Trader on buying a car out of State:

This has been my experience with buying 2 cars from out of State Dealers as a South Dakota resident. If you pick up your Elio at the plant, EM may be able to handle the entire process on-line providing your pre-payment has been arranged if you are financing your Elio. Otherwise, payment, temporary 30 day tags, and register, license, and pay applicable taxes back home.

We run into a slightly different situation here; Oregon doesn't have Sales Tax, so if you buy a car there, it seems cheap.
Now I live in Washington that does have sales tax, and that's when the fun begins when you bring that OR car home.
Any car you buy in OR, and register in WA has to get a "free" inspection by the State Patrol. (Remember this)
Now you go to register at a License Franchise (DOL doesn't have remote offices) and you pay, WA state sale tax, License Franchise service Fee, Title transfer fee, and that free inspection you got at the State Patrol? $20 is tacked on to your registration for it. The list goes on: Filing fee funds that go to the county where the fees are paid, license fee funds for road construction and maintenance projects, license fee supports the computer system used to provide licensing services, Transportation benefit fee funds local transportation projects, and an optional fee for State Parks Donation.
I think it's just because they ran out of space on the form you don't have any others.

The closest Elio retail center to me ...... yup, it's in Portland. The WA Elio Center, Bellevue; 170 miles north of me.
