Texting While Walking...

THIS takes the cake. Although, I do have to say that living in a college town, I see texting while walking all the time. (I fitted Fiamm air horns on my Miata because of TWW...) How numb and unaware can one person be? Wonder if she felt any pain when she was hit... :-/

A guy I know is a dispatcher for Union Pacific. He had a yard manager call him one night because a drunk woman had walked into the side of a moving train. A ladder on the side of a car had torn a considerable sized patch of her scalp loose on the back of her head and she was refusing treatment and threatening to start screaming rape if he didn't let her go...

PS: I'm just kidding. I realize you probably interpreted the title figuratively (as one can "live on" as a warning) and didn't read the article but she really did live with mostly only a broken leg and injured arm!
