NHRA are doing the Nationals in Seattle <Kent> that weekend, I have no idea which event is scheduled for Portland. I guess that's way they say "Stay tuned for details" <Duh!>

Portland is closest to me (20miles vs 168miles both one way).

But depending on what events they are plans to be at I might do both.
If I go to Seattle I'll take the train (nice 3 hour ride the rails (that is each way again)).

But if it's something I don't want to attend, I'll stick with Portland only.

Thanks for this Coss! I just realized Independence, Mo is an eastern suburb of KC, Mo. I am going to a Royals baseball game on July 25. So I may have to beg and plead with the other 3 peeps that are going to the game with me. It's a 5 hr drive from my town to KC, but I may have to bake some cookies or something to appease and convince them to drive a little farther and lemme go see the P4.

Edit: Aw lug nuts, it's only 8 miles from Kauffman Stadium! LOL, outstanding.
