I find it interesting that the top 3 selling vehicles in the US in Jan 2015 are all pickup trucks

# 1 Ford F-series .... 54,370 sold

# 2 Chevy Silverado ... 36,106 sold

# 3 Dodge Ram 1500 - 3500 .... 28,618 sold

Ford's got the new aluminum body panels. Wonder if that has anything to do with the lopsided sales. GO FORD!!

I wouldn't be surprised .... I found it oddly interesting that trucks occupy the top three places

Yep, saw the Cars.com site...it's just like you listed. That is odd. o_O Can't think of why that would be.

drop in gas prices ???? .... my main vehicle is a Chevy truck, the last time that wasn't the case was back in the late 60's/early 70's (back then it was a Jeep) .... if/when we get our Elio we will drive it (hopefully for many years) but a truck will still be my primary mode of travel

Yep, Somewhere on this forum is the guy who disputed my assertion that falling gas prices would mean a huge increase in gas-sucker sales. Just proves my point: if gas gets cheaper, we'll just burn MORE of it.
