I think that this is temporary. As soon as they get some money they will restart. The tour brings in reservations, the reservations give credibility.

The way I look at it this way.
If EM is not using a high value asset, (the tour team and, or the P5, E1C). It's because EM is using that asset somewhere else. The P5 / E1C may be being updated. It has been pointed out that the P5 & E1C have been sharing an engine. The tour team may be calling on Federal and, or, State governing bodies. Letters, lobbyist and phone calls are good, but not as good as face to face meetings from EM.
All this is just a guess.

It would be nice if Elio Motors had enough cash to still show off. Maybe a gofundme page until we get the big money ?
Heck, if they gave me one to show off, I would keep it garaged, polished, and hand out flyers at any gathering in my town for free.

I would travel the U.S. Coast to Coast and see how many trips that I could make across this great land.
