I don't like this statement from the report...

"Interest expense increased by 175% due to the default interest charges on the note to Racer Trust"

After reading the current 1-U...it's easier to understand why Elio has yet to qualify for ATVM funding...

Why? Elio Motors, has over $300 million in expressed sales by reservation holders, of that they estimated about $1000 profit per vehicle which is over $50 million. If they're able to crank out 19,000 vehicle in the first 90 days and 1000/day after that, that's some pretty good cash flow in the first five months of production. Will that translate into rising sales to maintain the growth? Who knows, but I certainly hope so.

I really don't understand why you are on this site at all.
Elioowners.com is not an official voice of Elio Motors.
Why not go over to Elio's Facebook page and regale them with your "financial acumen".
In the short time you have been here you have sounded more and more like someone who lives under a mossy bridge.

I'm with you William. I believe we all went in on this with our eyes open, scoured the SEC filing and EMs financials. Nothing like someone showing up acting like they are the only person that can do a little research; and only report on the negative... I get it. EM is in a deep hole. I choose to believe they'll (we'll) dig out.:D

Funding from our Regulation A offering will be used to build and test 25 prototypes. Upon completion of this phase,
which management expects to take six months, the vehicle production costs, as well as the performance and safety profiles, will be
understood to a level that will allow for the kick-off of hard tooling.
Emphasis added.
Regardless of the schedule laid out in the Reg A+ filing, they are saying the E-series phase will take six months, then they can begin hard tooling. That's this August.

Also, I kinda love this bit.
Customer Reservations. Customer reservations have provided significant funding for us in the past and we expect reservations
to be a significant source of short-term liquidity in the future. With each progressive step in our development, we have experienced a
surge in reservations. In addition, as we achieve subsequent milestones in the development of the Elio, customer confidence
increases. Accordingly, we expect to see surges in reservations as the following milestones are achieved and announced: completion of
prototypes, testing results, confirmation of mileage, guarantee of the sales price, hiring at the manufacturing facility, and, hopefully
before production commences, scarcity.
