Happy Friday Elio'ers! If 84 mpg and $7,450 wasn't enough to get you excited, you might want to check your calendar. August 11th is National Son's and Daughter's Day! Each year on August 11th, parents across the United States celebrate this special day. It's a day to spend time with the joys of your life, your sons and/or daughters. So you may be wondering how this National holiday relates to the Elio. It does when you see the most frequently asked questions over the past 2 weeks:
Q: Will the car be safe enough for my son/daughter?
A: The short answer is YES. The long answer is Elio is committed to uncompromised safety and will be engineered to the highest safety standards. Each Elio comes equipped with 3 airbags and Anti-Lock brakes.
Q: Can I use my son/daughters educational account to pay for the Elio if they're using it for school?
A: Generally no. You may be able to use the standard reimbursement rate, but we'd recommend consulting a professional tax advisor.
Q: Everyone I know is making a reservation for an Elio, so is it too late to make a reservation for my son/daughter?
A: Absolutely not! We would recommend the All-in $1,000 option so little Johnny or Suzy will have an official spot in line.
