Hey all,
For those that are still interested in 2 wheel vehicles, found this company today based out of the UK planning on producing an all electric sport bike capable of up to 400 miles per charge. 21kWh capacity battery, it’ll make 120bhp and boast a top speed of 180mph, with a starting price at £7,999. Still in its early stage (and I'm still skeptical of their chances of success) but very interesting project and hope to see them make it.

There is no way that size of bike can hold 21kw of batteries, unless they are using some seriously bleeding edge battery tech. That many kw of Lithium Ion would weigh several hundred pounds and take up much more space than that bike has under those fairings.

For reference, here is an image of the Chevy Spark EV drivetrain; the box over the rear axle is the 21kw battery pack.

I agree with you, but every time I hear someone say, "they can't do that". I hear, all the nay sayers, naying the Elio. Of course some of the nay sayers were correct. Way back in 2014, 2015, & 2016, when they said, Elio can't build that next year!

Polaris has one they had under Victory, Victory went belly up so now they put it under the Fake Indian flag. The venture into the electric one was a part of what brought Victory down. Victory, Indian and the electric was to much for them to bear.
They are still a novelty product maybe some college kid some one that never goes far can use but of no real use.
I had a chance to ride the one HD is working on but time was to short .

Zero Motorcycles has bikes that can do 200 miles on a charge, although it's more like 130-150 if your doing a lot of freeway driving. But they are very lightweight machines and need a lightweight rider to get those sort of numbers. I want to say the largest battery is a 12kw one, but I haven't looked them up in a while. Certainly plenty of range though.
